Haven't spotted a newt this year yet in ours. Great photos.

Thanks, Ruth! We had a lovely weekend watching the antics of the frogs...around 70 in one pond!

Hello,
I love frogs and I am considering to get a few for my small pond.
Now I have two questions:
How large is your pond and do your cats catch them?
Our cat Maxi would be very interested in the frogs, if he can get to them:-((

Hi, Guild_rez, one pond is 25 by 25 feet and the other is 25 by 30 feet. The cats ignore the frogs when they are in the pond and chase after them if they are hopping about the garden, but the frogs simply hop into the pond. They don't eat them or attack them. It's more a curiosity thing, whereas I have seen the cats eating spiders and butterflies!
