- In 1990, as we were driving through a little village, I noticed a quaint old barn with a corrugated roof, and a newly-built house adjacent to it. They were standing on a large plot of land, full of pernicious weeds - a corner of a farmer's field, in fact. Then we saw the "For Sale" sign. Thank you very much, Salix. We adore our catsTitch is a poor thing who needs a lot of love as he's had such a raw deal. Monster came to our back door begging for food, so we took him in, and it took him two years to find his purr-box, so he's a darling. the primulas do have pretty colours, don't they?
Those are adorable cats. I have one tame indoor cat and 6 semi tame outdoor ones. I came home from a long work trip and my husband said "we have a million cats! I counted and reassured him there were just 3 cats and 3 kittens. He named then a collective "millions". Those primula photos are lovely, i don't know this flower so i am going to check it out.
I actually drooled on my keyboard looking at these photos. Taz looks completely at peace and Monster is just a fabulous looking feline.
So jealous! We're waiting for big snowstorm here.

We're lucky to have the five garden moggies....and at feeding time, it sometimes feels like millions, as they empty their bowls and the hungry ones pretend to be Oliver and come back and ask for more... The primulas are very colourful flowers in the Spring garden. The sulphur yellow ones, which grow under hedgerows, are primroses; the ones, with larger heads, which come in assorted colours are known as primula, and the polyanthus is a primula with a taller stem.

That Titch looks like a real character!
Titch is one of the three strays who live in our barn, but I feed them and look after them even though their owner lives nearby. He needs a fair amount of feeding up as he's had such a raw deal in his life and like his two pals was left to fend for himself. He's always in the wars with battle scars to prove it!
