And roses bloom in cottage plots,
Along the brookside banks we see
the blue wild forget-me-nots.

Graet photo's!

Thanks for the tip re the bees!

Do you know anything about honeysuckle? We planted one last week, but now the leaves are turning black and droopy. Could this be overwatering? We can't find this problem in our gardening books!

b.t.bear esq...I have heard of verticillium wilt in honeysuckle. This is info on the web about it... http://www.ipm.iastate.edu/ipm/hortnews/1998/3-13-1998/verticil.html
Thanks for your visit.

tyra, thanks for introducing yourself. The quince is exactly as it is in the photo as I just took the picture yesterday.

Ruth, I love the drumsticks too. Thanks for your comments.

Oh dear!
Yes, it does sound like a fungus.
We had rust on some chrysanthemums on this site last year, so I suppose it might be still in the soil.....

Thank you for the link!

Count on me as another drumstick fan! Beautiful photo of a beautiful flower.

With all the rain we've had, we should have an amazing May. I hope so at least!
